Needless to say, I have a huge collection of tree books, but when I was young I was a voracious reader, read a Hardy Boys a night untill I had the whole series done, then the 3 Investigators, then Nancy Drew, then the famous 5, then anything I could get my hands on. I really loved the Wilbur Smith books too.
I still remember my classmate buying a whole set of Harry Potter books (but not the complete set since not all the books were finished yet) and everyone was so jealous. Now these books are just famous because of someone’s twitter account.
Glad that even though we’re all from different parts of the world, we shared a similar experience in the past through these books. Thanks for sharing everyone! Sorry OTC I kinda derailed the thread. I actually have one those Nessie plushies but it’s the small on my work desk. 😁
@Cheese9Man ive seen the Harry Potter films but not read the books, wayyyy after my time 😃 The books were read by youngtreelett though.
I did read all of the lord of the rings books bitd, and I mean all of Tolkien's stuff. I got all of the LOTR on audio book for yt and he gobbled them up 😉
