Next gen version VERY VERY SOON!

@Cheese9Manbut in this case, the ones who are playing the PS5 and xbox X version will not be able to play with the other console as it will be considered as a different title, also there might be a problem with transferring player profiles ( saves and progress ).
a lot of games added the new-gen resolution and framerate within the same version of the game and unlocked as an option, warzone, Fortnite, and rouge company, and I strongly think Apex should be the same otherwise it's gonna be a mess

@maximas1986 Its annoying that they can't make an Xbox one the same pool as the Series consoles as standard, I bought cod vanguard the enhanced version but if you turn off cross play can't find a match so have to play a very dated looking last gen version of the game just to stop me needing to turn off cross play and play vs PC players.

@CAGOA34 Cod and apex are completely different in how they implement crossplay. Apex console only is all consoles. Cod xboxers don't have a console only option that includes PS players. Cod people are forced with PC.

BF 2042 was similar in tha crossplay on was everyone. Crossplay off was only your actual console.

  @hayhor Yeah for now but that may be changing with the direction the latest releases are taking, they're just throwing us all on a pool together with cross play on, certainly the case for call of duty and HALO.

    @CAGOA34It was like that for cod before the next gen versions. It's a manufacturer direction. And so far Apex has given no indication that is what they will do. They have always kept PC and consoles as optional. I wouldn't get too excited about what max said.
