No heirloom shards and discount in the Anniversary Collection Event

I have a theory for this BH Mythic skin. This skin wasn’t supposed to be an heirloom level cosmetic but rather just an expensive skin that they’ll sell separately like the recent Bang STFO skin (maybe $50-60?). And I also think this was a last minute decision.

Here’s why. Isn’t it a bit weird that your heirloom is a BH skin but one of the cosmetics being sold is also a BH skin? Your heirloom is already 3 BH skins that costs $160 so no way you’re using that pirate themed BH in the CE. And of course, because of money. Lol.

Sidenote: The event tracker last year includes a legendary Spitfire skin as the final reward. No legendary skins in this anniversary. Loving everything about S12 except for this anniversary event since they’ve set expectations last year.

  @hayhor Hmm, that doesn't make sense. People who want to only buy an heirloom have no way to do so because they would have to either spend $170 or $500. And people already spend so much money on this already existing heirloom system, why wouldn't they add more stuff like that? People who spend money on heirlooms are the sole reason why Respawn keeps pushing stuff like this cuz they know how stupid people can be .

    @BaldWraithSimp What doesn't make sense? My last post I said I hope people don't fall for it. The reason I said this is it is setting up a precedent to do it with all legends. I don't want more of these.
    
    A skin you cannot see is totally different than an heirloom.
