I'm trying to understand the question. For your first point, you mentioned that it happens "if you're still watching the squad that killed you and haven't left the game". I believe the "Eliminated" that pops up when you're spectating, would be indicating that the person you are spectating got the elimination? I don't think any kill credit slips through the cracks
Next time you are playing, down a player and then if your squad dies watch what happens when that downed player gets killed (it says on the screen "eliminated") and then watch what happens when the person you're watching gets a kill (nothing is displayed on the screen)
Have you ever wondered why you don't get kill credit for killing a player that's already downed by someone else who has been killed themselves? It's because they haven't left the game and they are still watching.
- dSKyNafinchin4 years agoHero@Marge010 Ohhh, I was under the impression that when you are spectating someone, any kills that pop up, are their kills, because you are simply spectating their current pov. I definitely do remember a couple situations here and there, where I was thinking I would get my kill, and ended up not. It happens to me so rarely though, that I honestly cant recall, off the top of my head. I'll have to pay attention tonight if it happens, and see if I notice a pattern or anything

It's very hard to capture this because it doesn't happen too often but I've uploaded a video where it shows part of what I'm talking about.
The video shows that I down 2 players. Because I don't quit when me and my squad are killed you will see it shows eliminated twice on the screen for the players that I downed after the player who kills me then kills their remaining player (who was trying to revive his teammate at the time). BUT I don't get kill credit and neither does the player I am watching. The player I am watching only gets kill credit for the remaining player he kills. So that means nobody gets kill credit for the players I downed.
If you see I had 2 kills before I downed the 2 players in the video and at the very end of the video it shows I still had 2 kills.
Now if I had stopped watching after I was killed and I quit the game and if the player killed the already downed players first he would have got kill credit for both of them but if I was still watching it would say eliminated on the screen (as though I had killed them) and nobody would get kill credit.
I will try get another video to show more of this theory if I can.
Ignore the poor gameplay, I'm not that good at this game.
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Marge010 Good example I think. It even shows you bled out the ones downed even tho you were not alive. Not sure it has always been like that?
Now the only thing we don't know is if that guys teammate fired the bullets that actually eliminated the downed plays which would have awarded the kills to that player and not the one you were spectating. Cause remember, it's the last bullet that gets the credit.

@Marge010I don't think your spectacting theory is true at all. The player who thirsts gets the credit if the person who downed him is dead, even if you are spectacting.(yes you do get the eliminated msg, but it will not actually add to your stats)
- Marge0104 years agoSeasoned Ace@BaldWraithSimp If its not true then why sometimes do I not get kill credit when I thirst a downed player after the squad that downed him has already died? But other times I do get kill credit?
This isn't something I've just recently noticed. I've been seeing this happen for a long time. I think its always been the case but obviously not many people notice it.
