No teamates remaining, still recieves a penalty.

After this new Season 3 update, ive notice how leaving a game early gave me a 5min penalty for abonding my teammates. (THANK GOODNESS). BUT this later led to it getting in the way and not really corr...

Just recently started a solo ranked matchmaking game only to find out that i was paired with 0 partners???

Left to just start a new session only to find out that i was imposed the abandon penalty... So couple of big concerns here...

1) Why would anyone be matched into a game without teammates to begin with? Especially if the game hasn't even started.

2) If you're literally the ONLY person on your squad, then why force an abandonment penalty on the one person?

@UDMauler You abandoned the enemy players, robbing them of a free kill...
I'm just happy I haven't faced any penalties yet, but I haven't had a disconnect, nor do I actively leave matches.
Still, your point is valid, and the penalty system is beyond flawed.

@UDMauler I am glad they implemented a leaver penalty this season, but I do agree there are some flaws with it. Examples:
1. Your case in point
2. I was playing with a friend last night and for some reason the game didn't pull him into the lobby. So I had to do a hot drop and hopefully get some quick kills before dying so I could go back to the lobby for us to queue up again without getting a penalty. Ended up losing RP because of the reckless playstyle just so my buddy wasn't sitting alone in the lobby waiting for me.

Just had the same bs happen, on my first game. now I get to wait 80 minutes. Respawn doesnt seem to care though
