Very good idea. But why would it take any time? Add two data points to each unique player and then two or three lines of code to the current sbmm algorithm. I'm no programmer, but it seems like a monkey could do it in between meals.

Haha I'm with you on that. I only say that "it would take time" because I can only assume that Respawn has their "priorities" driven elsewhere. How many seasons has it been... I'm no programmer either but I agree that a monkey could do it too especially if I could think to mention it in my post lol.

It would probably be too easy @reconzero . The question these devs are probably asking is, "Are we going to lose money if we cleaned up SBMM?" XD

@AREYOUSITHREOUS imo it's the demotion that's the cause of all this and itt cannot be fixed using 6 tier demotions.
I think once you have reached a level, say diamond, then there you stay. All diamond tiers are demoted to diamond IV at the start of each split. It's that simple in my mind.
To encourage play, you only get the current season split reward if you go up at least a tier, maby 2.
