My club name is AKISUPREMACISTS (I set it as that as a joke and thought I could change it later which I now realize I cannot) but I’ve had it as that for a while and I got an email saying it were offensive or a violation. I’m not sure if it is but as far as I’m concerned Aki is a name so I’m just not sure what I can do since club names cannot be changed

Standards doesn't just apply to one thing otherwise it's called double standards. This reminds me of the time that Japanese player got banned for a common word they use which isn't even close to offensive in their language.
@hayhorIt's used to describe a person who would do anything for a person mostly used to describe males. It's a very overused word

@WreckingVi if I think a user name is offensive I will report it. Up to respawn to decide if they consider it offensive enough to ban, not me. I was not referring to childish and stupid in those terms, as in I don't report childish and stupid usre names, more that it is childish and stupid to use an offensive name in the first place. Apex is not a place to use rasist or derogatory or inflamitory usernames for fun, or worse to incite hatred, and I'm delighted they are working on cleaning out the trash.
@BaldWraithSimp that's a bit of an overstatement isn't it? Just choose a decent username like BaldWraithisH0t and everything will be OK and there will be a pleasent gaming environment for everyone.

But by the same token when a word is used in another fashion, to cause hurt, then it has to go. Its not your fault, as your intent is not to malign, its the ones who's intent is to malign that spoil it for you. Apex is not a democracy, it is a business, and this is a business decision.
@Daze623 you and I have thicker skins than others and would not be offended by some words used. Others may not have such thick skins. I have seen many threads about toxic behaviour and clearly this move is a response to that. Is it over the top, maby. Will it change behaviour, yes imo. Perhaps when the behaviour changes things will be relaxed.
