I concur with the original post and lending my support to have this removed.
This quest line has just ruined a number of games for me. Solo bloodhounds dropping on their own without co-ordinating with the jump master.
Apex is not ready for the mutual support and coordination required for this type of quest in the middle battle royale game. It didn't work well as side quest lines in Alterac Valley in World of Warcraft and that's a game built around collaboration.
At least writing this post has wasted some time before World's Edge rotates.
