So... I played Apex today for first time in... a couple of weeks I think(?) after I’ve been playing other games. So... this happend last time too when I started playing DOOM Eternal and went to switch to Apex for comparison but the movements felt so ‘late’ and clunky but I just blamed it on DOOM being so smooth. Now I played it and it still felt so yucky... looking around didn’t feel smooth, shooting didn’t feel as tho all bullets hit... is it just me or what?

@Koochi-Q Same here man. I've been playing on an off for the last couple of weeks because it's exactly as you say feels clunky to me. Everything is running extra laggy. It could be you playing doom too I dunno, I've only been on Apex so I can't attest to that. But in general the game doesn't feel the same to me. A little bit better on duos but the gun fights and running seem really off to me

@DeathRaven_1983 No, servers are always like this, no matter if they are overloaded or empty. This is one of the major issues of apex but it's not being fixed 🤨

@Koochi-Q It's been bad with this update. Lots of lag, lots of audio issues, lots of rubber banding.

I know I just overlooked the feeling when I was invested in this game because I was used to it... but now I’ve played other games again... wow.@DarthValtrex, lolz in one of those matches I was tracking a wraith who was lagging hard. She jumped couple of meters while running from time to time. Was epic to see.@apostolateofDOOM, good work comrade! I entirely know what you mean. I truly think my time with Apex is over. I cant play this game anymore with how it feels... oh well I’ll always have the forums with the hope they’ll improve the servers*starts laughing internally*

Like the candy man but you only need to say it once. 👿I told you I wouldn't even bother touching the hardest mode without the cheat codes as I would prefer not to purchase a new keyboard, monitor or whatever other peripheral was in grabbing distance and would expect nothing less in that game.As for Apex, I have been playing a fair few multiplayer shooters recently and they all feel smooth and responsive compared to this even older titles no longer supported.They dropped the ball on this, let it deflate, the bin men took it to a landfill and the sucker got burned. If respawn try to pick it up now it will never even remotely resemble the same ball.Shame.

@powerlung Yea but the thing is, I played doom 1/2 weeks ago and the comparison... when I played doom the first time after Apex I was like ‘what is this smoothness in movement and environment’ and after 2 days I did Apex for a reason and it felt so clunky.

But since doom I played and completed 2 entirely different games but Apex still feels weird to play... I played 5 games yesterday and was like ‘my bloodhound isn’t even worth this’ XD. It didn’t help that 4 matches were with at least 1 person below lvl 100 and/or not knowing KC... (how do I know this? When faced with flyer in cage, they ran right passed the cages making the thing make noise, only to turn around and stand in front of the cage and try to melee the flyer...)

Might try Duos tomorrow with a buddy to test but the allure to play Apex keeps diminishing...

@Koochi-Q It could be because DOOM is more of a single player game, and even the multiplayer is only 3 people total.
Have you done ultra nightmare yet?

@Sir_Named True true, I’ve taken that into account of course. But thats also the reason I didn’t list Warzone. I dont have that jaggy feeling there and thats 150 ppl in a more massive map.

Haven’t done and not gonna do ultra nightmare (if that’s the hardest difficulty). After you play through the game you can just do difficulty up and it still counts. It’s easy to do ultra that way, but if you just do new game and start on ultra, the game’s too frustrating to play XD.

I did 2nd hardest difficulty fairly easily except for some parts which ranged from a downright hassle to meltdown inducing :P I don’t wanna play those on ultra :P

@Koochi-Q I have not done ultra nightmare, given that I don't actually have the game. I'm sure you can do it, just use the power of friendship!
Yeah, the apex servers are pretty bad. Kind of disappointing they didn't fix it a little in the new patch.

The servers are extremely overloaded. That’s why the game runs at 100 FPS but feels like 30 FPS.
