Now hear me out, everyone’s favorite pair of guns, the P2020 and Mozambique have always been outclassed and unused by players. Now what if we had it so if you had two in your inventory and you collected and item (this is a maybe) you could equip both of them at the same time and akimbo them. Now HammerPoint rounds might be overkill but that’s entirely up to EA.

@DarthValtrex Would be pretty straight forward.ADS replaced by second weapon.Akimbo specific weapon slot.I would say if this was every implemented they would have to give an akimbo weapon set the slowest switch speed simply because the power of it as a switch out would be pretty nasty.

@Breaker771 I don't know that it's a good pairing, they both shred body damage. I think it dual wield would be better if they had an energy pistol that shreds armor or reworked the moz to shred armor.

Shred armor with moz, drop health with the P2020.. Talk about a fun set up..

@DarthValtrex So like disruptor on bique, hammer on p20? I could dig that cause it’d still be tough to pull off but be fun and work well , but akimbo weapons of any kind would be mad op lol.

@MassiveVernon I responded to a topic regarding a disruptor bique the other day, after doing the math I can tell you it would honestly be pointless lol.
Only benefit you would receive is a slight damage increase over range on a shielded target...and not enough to make it worthwhile.
Disruptor p2020 would be much more viable. 😛

@MandatoryIDtag Yeah I guess so tbh . But Imagine having one with disruptor and one with hammer for your loadout , would tear through people so fast haha. Can already imagine the wall of nerf posts on the forum lol

Yeah man, problem is it only saves you shot per shield break. If they rigged it to behave like the sentinels disruptor variant shot it would be brutal.
1 shield cell per clip with a guaranteed shield break.
The p20 bique would be CQC meta. 😛

@MassiveVernon I would not want to see it be OP, but competitive yeah it could be fun. The big question I have is what would the control set up look like on console? I would want to be able to control the guns independently of each other.

Break shields with one, shred health with the other. The combos would have to be refined so they are not too OP.

The other question I have, how would dual wield impact inventory? Would you carry 3 guns? or be stuck with 2? 3 guns with the current inventory system would be tricky.

Yeah it would definitely need a lot of thought into the balancing really to make it viable to use and not too op. I can’t imagine three guns working really, too much messing around when changing weapons and such . Maybe just a new type of gold weapon , like a pick up that drops when you switch weapon/ run out of ammo? Or maybe a hop up that combines them both if you have two equipped , then leaves you a free space for a new weapon ? Not sure tbh

@MassiveVernon A hop up would definitely be more streamlined, I just thought it'd be easier to find a second mozambique than it would to find a gold hop up. 😛
