A big portion of the community is upset that the exclusive Iron Crown event skin "War Machine" for Pathfinder was recently re-released in the item shop. My idea is to give the players that have had the skin since 2019 a special reskin or a completely unique skin. If you don't understand here's an example, during fortnites early days the Skeleton skin was released during Halloween, then later on it was released a second time and the community was upset. Epic Games responded by giving the "OG" players a unique purple reskin of the original one. I have the same idea for the War Machine skin for pathfinder. In my opinion, giving the "OG" players a unique skin would help ease the upset of the community.

@GuhRiilaz They've stated upon its release that every skin can return at a later date (barring battle pass and event trackers) and the war machine skin has come back multiple times, you know it will come back, and know that in the two years of the games release that it'll come back again along with just about every skin they release. There's no real reason to be upset about it at this point.

Er, people who got the Wraith voidwalker package could be really upset that Gnarly was back in the store, or that the voidwalker skin just keeps popping up for sale whereas many other skins have not.
On the other hand, I would hope people understand by now the point of a freemium game is for Respawn to grab as much cash as you can first, and make a game second. Or they would have sold this game for $60 plus DLC and been done, like Titanfall 2.
Know what you're in for, and know that if you buy something that other people want, Respawn is going to sell it again.

@Cheese9Man Am I correct in assuming that, unlike the BP items we recently discussed, there was no promise made for event skins to never being sold again? I don't remember the ad copy.

@pandareno1999 What I knew was that collection event skins can comeback but not the items from the event trackers. But upon checking the FAQ, it seems that everything can come back now.
