People not scared of gas is getting really problematic

@Alphabets Try playing as bangalore and having people beam you through smoke that they are not supposed to see through.. And they do it with LMG that have no digital threats...

I'm mostly playing Wattson right now. I won't make another in game purchase because of this change. Spent nearly $100 on Bangalores heirloom and I can't even enjoy it because they nerf her without even announcing it. When I try and play her, I eventually bump into people who just destroy me through the smoke.

This is the kind of thing that sends people to other games.

@DarthValtrex Oh man, I totally know what you mean, bad experience.

This game was really good on the first year, they were really careful with balancing then, now they bring a legend who dominate the whole game for seasons (Horizon) or nerf legends to the point that they are not playable.

I wonder if they do this so people purchase and play new legends instead of previous ones? Though most players get new legends using their tokens mostly.

I don't get their policy, they give old legends a heirloom, event, cool skins and at the same time crush them XD

@DarthValtrex Honestly I didn't notice any difference, I'm having a hard time shooting people through bangalore smoke, like always. But I am trying to poke enemies hiding inside smoke more often. Maybe the change you speak of is console only, but then I don't understand why it's not Sswitch only, if that's the reason they made it for.

@Alphabets I have played Caustic extensively since the nerf. I killed people with the gas, wiped out squads, won a few, including one or two on my own. I like people pushing me inside my gas, they're easy kills. Overall, I don't feel Caustic being weaker, at all. As for Octane, Horizon, Revenant and Wraith, they were great counters to Caustic since before the nerf, but that's normal.

@DoYaSeeMe Areas int he sun light it's fairly bad.

@DarthValtrex It was an unintended change, they are looking into it. That's what the devs said at least.

@KarvaRausku I've heard of that and makes sense to a point, particle systems are performance killers all the times. But I don't get why that isn't a thing for Switch only, as it's pretty easy to make settings per device type. They either didn't see much of a difference, didn't want Switch players to have an advantage or didn't want to make the setting exploitable by exposing parameters of it.
