So ive seen a video, AND I know someone who does it:
Adjusts the settings (not sure how, I think ini files) to render particles so low, that smoke becomes see through
1- We need to have the kill banner when we die show weapon AND attachments
2- Players should be forced to a minimum settings
3- Tweaking these setting artificially should be considered cheating and handled as such
Unfortunately, its absolutely a thing
The guy who did this who I played with, was like
"you are a lvl 50 or whatever and you havnt done this yet? Everyone's doing it. Not doing it just leaves you behind"
yeh its called BS. settings need to be locked in the ini files for games like this. also I lmao @ people who have these $500 + graphic cards and play on low settings. too funny.
Well the game isn't optimized that well at the moment so why wouldn't people with high end cards play on low settings?
When the game launched it would crash to desktop when I had high settings, haven't bothered to see if they fixed that issue.
Only way to see through the smoke as far as I know if the aimbot setting that shows frames around other characters. If the guy said was able to see through it, chances are he was cheating.
Well, you are wrong. Aimbot/wh is not the only way to see through smoke.

Why can't people just play the game as intended? Why oh why do these people look for loopholes?
I know some will say it's the devs fault for this, but I blame the players. People want such an edge over other players in a cartoon online shooter that will earn them nothing in the real world.
How sad the human race has become. Self esteems must be at an all time low lol. I wonder who they tell about their online prowess in real life? I wonder who the * cares.
Oh and +1 for the kill banner. Killcams I'm not in favour of, but a banner showing weapon and attachments would help understand time to die.

Hope they fix this soon.
Maybe some ppl are doing a forbidden ini tweak, but I'm sure that most of ppl that see you through smoke actually have a digital sight or are simply bloodhound on ult.
If I find a digital 1x, I would even switch weapons (e.g., R301 -> R99) if I had none I could equip it on.
