I have had times this had happened, but there's not much you can do really, its a BR sometimes it comes down to pot luck!
Loot RNG is considerably better than it used to be.
The easiest counter to a run of bad luck on loot though is simply early game aggression, I tend to just pick up a couple of heals first two guns I find and a body shield and push straight for the next team, if its a third party scenario even better.
You acquire loot much quicker doing this than running around a quiet POI searching every building.
I see a lot of people complaining about "not finding a weapon" which does happen sometimes without a doubt, but more often than not the reality is "I can't find a weapon I like using"....that's where firing range comes in handy. 😉

@MandatoryIDtag Except for the fact that you can't push a team with no weapons lol. I feel like this issue is more present on KC rather than on Olympus, i could be wrong though.

@Cro_Pittt I know, I didn't refute that can be the case. Go have another read lol. 😛

@hayhor My winrate has nothing to do with early game lol, it's end game. Pretty rare you hear anybody grumbling about loot endgame unless they've been hiding in houses for the entire match lol. :D
- hayhor5 years agoHero@MandatoryIDtag Surely picking up whatever guns you find and a couple heals and pushing as fast as you can hurts the win rate a bit over finding what you are really comfortable with?
And dont get me wrong, there are lots of times I just do what you described now. It is quite satisfying killing the people who looted for you. - Vdstrk5 years agoSeasoned Ace@Cro_Pittt you cannot push, nor can you defend... only option is disengage... and hope they won't catch you while rotating

@hayhor Don't get me wrong I naturally have preferred weapons, it would be weird if I didn't.
After two years of playing the game I'm pretty comfortable with all of them bar the sentinel....which just wouldn't be an ideal first weapon pick up regardless.
To be honest I find early game aggression much easier than mid to late, the odds of you catching people in a position they're not comfortable is much higher, I pay attention to who drops where and try for high ground instantly before I push another team, just to get the lay of the land so to speak.
It's not something that will be for everyone....but I do think its a pretty important habit to get into if you're trying for higher kill games.
