A lot of times we're downing two, or even three (if someone got self-res) players in a squad, and then we're wiped out by another team, which also kills the first team that we've already downed...
Not getting any points for this is really crappy. Especially in ranked/early-game, where this is really common.
It would be a lot better to receive the points when the match is done. It would make more sense.

I'd say the best solution for this, would to be getting points after you leave, so it'd force you to spectate if you wanted to see if the last guy you knocked bled out. Needing to wait until the end of a 15-20 minute match is kinda pushing it if you only downed two people before getting third partied.
On the other side of the coin though. Currently If you finish someone that a dead player downed, YOU can be the one to claim the points by killing him. If he bleeds out however, those points go to nobody in particular.
