Pre-Stacked / SBMM / 3rd Partying

Hello,

first of all I play the game from beginning.

After a break of months, I played a lot the last weeks and it just makes no sense.

In about 90% of the public games there is a least one very good pre-stacked team, mostly 4k damage, 20 kill badge, very often even streaming and teabagging after killing someone.

I really would like to know from Respawn what is the point of playing the game with randoms when you are in the same lobby with those teams?

There are a many very good players who stream the game on Twitch etc and ONLY play public games with better player friends or a least of the same good skill level.

How high are the chances to win a game and/or have fun?

I really enjoy playing solo and I have absolutely no problem playing with beginners or lower skill level than me. And I appreciate the gratitude of my teammates when we successful win a fight or a game.

But Respawn, please tell me what should I do against those pre-stacked teams when for example they instant lasered my 2 teammates or they got out-played immediately.

It is a vicious circle because the only countermeasure against this is to play pre-stacked as well and I know from many guys that they are forced to do this to have fun in apex again! Is the game meant to play like this?

I really would like to hear Respawn`s opinion!

Ranked solo queuing is also much more difficult especially in higher ranked.

Also...

they should find a way to reduce or weaken the power of immediate 3rd, 4th, 5th partying. The problem is existing from the beginning and there is still nothing done against it except you get your shield back after finishing an enemy.

If your team killed 1-2 squads in a row you have absolutely no chance to prepare for another attack when you have to heal and/or revive etc, also most times "backing-up" isn`t even possible.

And yes, there are still many or even more cheaters in the game, even with a high level. Report System is useless.

    Great post and welcome back to Apex after such a long time out. 

    Yes, I do agree with you and this is very frustrating. I am a below average player and when I am playing solo there is always some team in my lobby that is packed out with all of the badges, a massive amount of kills and what seems to be like the ability to know where everyone is on the map. 

    So many people complain about this, especially on the forum in fact I made a post about it today. 

    For me, I am a platinum level player. I have never really tried to push on out of Platinum because I find it too much of a challenge and way too much of a grind especially when I have to balance work and gaming together. My K/D this season (5) is 1.05 and I have played about 930+ games. What I can never understand is why when I have a KD like this should I EVER be going up against someone with 20Kill Badge who will have a KD of about 3.00+. It is so frustrating. 

    Also, it gets so much worse when you play with 2 friends in a pre made squad. In my lobbies I would say at least 40% of the lobby has Pred/Master/Diamond trails. Diamonds don't really bother me, its a challenge but Pred and Master.... REALLY APEX?!?!?!

    3rd Partying is just luck of the draw btw, there is nothing they can do about it. It happens on any BR game that you play and is the WORST thing when you are on the end of it but the BEST thing when you manage to wipe a team out and are surrounded by gold and purple boxes. 

    I hope you continue to grind and enjoy playing, its so hard at the moment but I am sure things will get better soon.

    There's an easy solution to 3rd parties, yet I have no clue why Respawn just doesn't implement said fix, just lower the damn gun shot sounds, they can be heard from across the map....it's definitely not just luck of the draw.

    @Gabrielmojo26 Lower the gun shot sounds? It's a battle royal game, not hide and seek in the school playgrounds!

    It is luck of the draw, being 3rd partied is the next worst thing after being killed by a hacker/cheater but that's part of any battle royal game unfortunately.

    All you can do is shield swap and try to gain cover in order to fight back. I have won a lot of fights when I have been 3rd partied, I even won a game the other day after getting 3rd partied 3 times in a row!

    @rockyboy1998I thought this was self explanatory, I guess not lol.

    Yes, lower the radius of gun shot sounds and drastically reduce 3rd parties.

    Not sure how you can insinuate it's luck of the draw when many pre-stacks will run to said gunshots from across the map, I mean you literally see it in every video posted by decent players. Hell, I'm guilty of doing this myself.

    @Gabrielmojo26 Oh yeah, I play as Bloodhound and I hunt the gun fights. But that is the way it is really, but then again... in the words of the man himself... "I am the Hunter the Gods have sent"

    @scir0 In BR's, third partying is a major occurrence while battling, and it would be difficult to balance it.

    I do feel your struggle though ☹️

    This is a game where there are 20 teams, not 2.  Expecting the game to play out like a bracket style tournament where everyone matches up vs their opponent then the 10 winners loot and heal up before going to round 2 and then 1 team gets a free pass for round 3 and round 4 and then round 5 is the final two teams for the win.

    As for stacks, obviously they're going to have an advantages.  They're going to be familiar with each others play style, good communication, probably relatively similar skill levels, etc.  These things all make a huge difference, especially in high level play where you can't just expect to 1v30 a bunch of people who miss most of their shots or can't keep up with your movement.

    What's the proposed solution? Predators get restricted to a playing pool of only other predators and so they have to sit around until 60/500 of them are all queueing up at the same time?  3stacks of diamond+ only get matched vs other 3stacks of diamond+ and so they also have to wait until 20 squads of 3stack diamond+ manage to queue at the same time?  Should a 1pred 2 master stack be matched vs a team of 3 diamonds or should 3stacks of diamond only be matched with other 3stacks of diamond?

    @Th3NormalGuy Yeah thats true, but it seems the 3rd,4th,5th parties came never so quick and in that extent than in other br games like pubg, warzone, firestorm etc I never played fortnite so I cant tell it for that.

    @Wizardhawk thanks for your reply! I agree with you 100% on the stacks.

    My post is actually focusing on pubs games but it is definitely a problem in ranked mode as well. I dont know the solution but the situation currently is not acceptable!

    In the last days/weeks I got in at least 8 of 10 games pre stacks in my lobby!!! It is totally unfair if you queue up solo!!

    I guess there are too less players currently to match preferably pre stacks with pre stacks and solo queuers with solo queuers.

    Most times I get a level under 100 and a level under 300 matched with me lvl 500. I dont say under level 100 is automatical bad but it often lacks in experience and it is still unfair against 3x very good players.

    The prestacks are 3x level 500, 3k and/or 4k damage and 20kills badges, thousands of kills eachI

    Also I never have seen so many smurfs like nowadays.
