Private matches has a 30 player requirement

Edit/Update: Private matches confirmed with a minimum requirement of 30 players plus no LTMs meaning control, gun run or the other modes. Arenas is available though which is good. Check the next post...

    This mode was a bit more designed to make tournaments more accessible.

    Well,  calling it a "Private Match" can be a tad misleading, calling it Tournament mode would probably have made it sound a bit more like it actually is.

      Why? What would you do, other than wasting server capacity, on a huge map like SP, running around, less than 30 people anyway?

        @CCbathwater Getting to know spots for diamond+ ranked games, practicing movement (pc players), 1v1ing on different POIs, SOLOS, hide and seek etc.

        If other games can, why not apex too? We’re already sharing instances in the firing range why not share it as well if you’re less than 30?

      @OldTreeCreeper Respawn/EA took to long to tell us that, they need to do better.
