Problems with EA server on Apex Legends

I’ve been playing apex legends on and off since season 1. The reason i’ve played on and off is due to the poor servers. 

for the last week, the lag has been awful. i’m getting into a game and can’t even move or get loot due to server lag, also unable to shoot or aim, only with serious delays. There is also poor matchmaking like being put in games with people who make the connection bad. 

and no, it is not a problem with my internet as i play several other games online including GTA V and DB Xenoverse 2 which NEVER LAGS on multiplayer. 

i don’t want to delete apex legends as i’ve spent a lot of money on the game, worked my way up to lvl 500 and unlocked lots of ultra rare stuff but the lag is making it insufferable.
