PSA: 2 Step Authentication

I am going to suggest everyone who plays Apex turn on 2 step authentication.  These incidents of people getting banned for no known reason seem to be increasing.

  • Everyone should have it enabled anyway.

Account security is really important and accounts should be as secure as possible.

But I think people most of the time know why they are banned for, even when they say they don't.

False-positive do happen and they can appeal the ban by contacting the ToS team.

Just a little account safety tip, never log in on an internet cafe with your main account.
You don't know what software is running on those computers.

  • @Zeelmaekers  for most part it certainly is people  just making a weak attempt at lying, but it's good to make people aware of this 2 step authentication i suppose. 😛

  • @Zeelmaekers

75% of people playing in China are at an internet cafe as we speak.

Edit: I just set it up as well after reading your post...thanks buddy @Palor0

  • Fax no printer 🤔

I always turn on 2 step on anything I get a chance to do so because if I'm going to spend a lot of time on it and money, I want to make sure it's secured.

I'll second this. Login Verification is highly recommended. I use it on every account I have that offers it as an option. It may feel like an inconvenience at first, but it's nothing compared to the stress of a compromised account. You can't really be too careful with account security.
