I am honestly wondering if this is a actual cheat that is out. Mid fight always against some low level i will be firing my gun it completely is put away and throws a punch then im dead before im even able to pull my wep out. It only has happen to me in battle against some low levels.
If anybody is still experiencing this, can you please add the following to your post.

If this is genuinely a bug and not just human error it would be worth collecting some data, we can hand it over to the community managers as some actual solid feedback then.
- @MandatoryIDtag The punch bug happens pretty often to me as well [PC], with any legend. My theory is that sometimes the server doesn't acknowledge the switching of states (from holstered weapon to drawn) due to network issues and applies corrections to the client, forcing the legend into the punch animation when the fire action is called. I think it's also possible for the bullets fired right before the punch to not actually register, even if the client clearly shows hit effects.
What I'd do is add the option to enable / disable punching when pressing fire in the weapon holstered state. That would help with human errors too.@DoYaSeeMe I'm wondering if control binding layouts are also a factor. I've been playing this game since S1 and I've never once experienced this issue. However some people seem to be plagued by it fairly regularly?
There seems to be variables.
