Question for console players

I have mentioned Sim City 4 -gate before. Haven't played on PC since. On console I can plug in my SNES to the scart adapter and play any SNES game. On PC you apparently can't play a game when Microsoft discontinue whatever dll EA require for a silly copy-protection disc check. Not to mention how it was hell playing Wing Commander IV on JnK. Only played it once. Played Wing Commander III on PS about 15 times.

Then there's the constant updating every other time I (try to) turn it on.

Also, heard you'd have to wait over a year to play RDR2 after it was released. And the best sports franchise, i.e. NHL, hasn't been released on PC since like NHL '09. Not a good sales pitch for that system. 

Then there are other annoying issues like spending time googling solutions whenever you run into an issue, instead of actually playing. Usually firewall or virus protection issues.

Cheaters and modders. Not that that matters anymore when crossplay is ruining online gaming, and you can't get rid of PC's in your Mixtape lobby, despite playing on PlayStation.
