Just to be the Devils advocate here why not flip that question around: Why don't you get a Console to play on instead of a PC? I understand if you are a kid and you have whatever your parents bought you. But to all the adults here why do you game on a PC? This is not a troll I am asking honestly because at least for me gaming on a Console doesn't even compare to playing on a PC.

Really there are benefits two both platforms:

Want to go over to your friends and play games, bring your console with you is a lot easier than a PC Rig and its components. Lan parties made easy.

PC does provide better graphics and FPS and such along with better hard-drive storage, faster downloads and many other things however they cost more if you want a decent rig.

Either way PC's and Consoles are not age restrictive, adults and children have both alike and boils down to preference and cost structures.

Lets let gamers be gamers, have fun and just game.
