@deezuglynutzLmao R99 is not ruining the game. It is very strong but there are two stronger weapons now: Volt and Mastiff. Volt does a lot more damage and without attachments it's easier to control than r99. As for the Mastiff, well... That's the real op gun in the game. There's nothing that can match it (apart from PK) in cqc, even those smgs. Literally two full body shots and that's it lol. And that's why you'll see lots of predators take the Volt over r99 or even the carabine lately because for close range combat Mastiff is enough and they need something more controllable at mid range. Yes it's still probably a top 5 or even top 3 gun but honestly, i'm not having any issue with people using it. The real problem is Mastiff right now.
P.S. Havoc is still valuable, especially at the start of the game, then if you find turbo also, then that becomes a God tier weapon 😉
Yeah, I guarantee you run the R-99 every game and tell yourself it's a fair weapon.

Yes they all do. It's the only gun anybody uses. It's got the highest pick in the game.
- @deezuglynutz It might be most picked, i don't have that stat so i can't say but d3 to pred lobbies don't exclusively use the R99.
- @deezuglynutz R99 is now replaced with a Volt. It is way more superior then any other gun out for any range fight. Also does 2 damage more each bullet then a R99 can.
Some on these forums can tell you i lazer people with r99 even from far. I only use it now for hip fire close fights. Volt is now the gun to use and if not using it then they playing wrong. When comes to balance it is now not the stronger gun compared to volt. So its balance was put in the back as there is a stronger gun out now with same fire rate nearly.
@deezuglynutzVolt has a higher DPS. two solid shots from a mastiff with a purple bolt will take down a 99 player first.
To say it has no recoil, are you joking? The vast majority of players can't control the recoil and thus opt for the 301 or other guns that either easier to control, have bigger magazines and slower fire rates or something.
Top tier lobbies I run into the Mastiff more than the 99.
Volt is fairly common but has a lower pick rate simply because ammo can be hard to find.- @deezuglynutz Everyone gets an R99? Didn’t know respawn did something about their garbage loot system.
Wish i had the streamer loot luck of seeing an r99 every time i dropped.
