Racism in JP servers

It's crazy how these guys instantly call someone they don't like "Chinese" like it's the worst insult in the world. Does reporting really do anything for that?

@matzesingtFair enough, you would have to understand the Japanese culture and their dislike for Chinese people. I think it would be the equivalent to calling someone the N word to them.. So I guess not racist, just derogatory

@twitchSeriel_FPS I thought it was only the older generation that still did that due to the war(s) of the past. The newer generation takes part in it as well (by older in this case 45+)?

But yea... no love lost between those 2

@Koochi-Q Racism against the back community stems back at least as far as the slave trade era lol, no reason for this to be any different. 😛
Hell even in the UK there a minorities in scotland/Ireland/Wales who hates the English simply because of our treatment of them centuries back....and nobody is actually alive that suffered from or committed any of these acts.
Then you've got heavily anti pakistani white British folks despite Pakistanis being invited to our country during the commonwealth....most of whom are 4th-5th generation British now and have every right to be here.
Racism is funny old thing.

@matzesingt Racist because they are using a part of my genes as a derogatory term. I think it depends on the individuals involved as well as the context. I can't think of another country that uses a nationality as a derogatory term because I am uncultured obviously, but that's how it is used here where I have lived for many years and didn't read about it somewhere... I was simply throwing it out there for some outside perspective from someone not involved in the situation and I clearly see that not everyone would agree. So why waste time reporting if it isn't seen as offensive to others and only as Asians hating on Asians.
