@Cheese9ManThis is absolutely true. Queing with two friends in pubs will throw you in lobbies that are primarily premades. It’s definitely not a perfect system though, as I often see a premade squad as champion when I solo queue.
It should be noted though, that solo queing does feel different now. The majority of the time, my teammates are either Diamond, Masters or Preds (or clearly a smurf).
So yes, the lobbies are ungodly sweaty, but at least the algorithm is no longer intentionally giving me weak teammates to “balance” the team. So ultimately I stand a better chance against the premades who make it into the lobby somehow.
