Re: Apex input lag

Hardware wise:

-Xbox series S

-I've tried two different monitors, TN panel and VA panel both 1ms response times.

-I've used 3 different types of HDMI  cables,  1random HDMI able from .junk drawer, ,2 oem HDMI cables, and

and  1  HDMI premium from critchfield.

-Ive  separated the Sources for the powercables for my Xbox and my monitor, so that they are under separate circuit breakers. (Completely unnecessary, but now I know)

-Ive tried using different HDMI ports..., Besides the one junk HDM, iam using HDMI 2.0.

-Ive used a calculator to confirm I can run 120 , 1440p at32 bits on  2.0 and I can.

- Oem Xbox controller , ran wirelessly, and wired.

- 2 Razer wolverine controllers, wired only, With various USBC cables. IN particular, I've used a high data transfer cable, including an ACTIVE USB  cable.

As far as hardware goes, I've exhausted my options.

Software

  • I've restart, my Xbox using Google home, using the home button on  3 different controllers,,Usingmy phone,  Unplugging the device itself. and pressing the power button and then discharging it.
  • I've uninstalled and reinstalled the following: Razer Xbox accessories, apex legends, controller testing apps, Fortnite
  • I've updated the following devices or programs: All  controllers,  razor app, accessories app,  controller testing apps, Apex legends, Fortnite, elden rings.Monitor software updated, drivers Included.
  • I've reset the cache on my xbox, and factory restore my monitor.
  • I Disabled capture, and removed Twitch.
  • I  turned off aimbot,   and uninstalled wallhacks,  then used bloodhound as crutch.
  • tried inputting the Konami  ate every screen.

                                Connection

  1. Ethernet,and WIRELESS
  2.  all paramaters for portforwarding has been entered 3x and correctly. I can't  tell the difference between Google DNS or cloudflare. I've used three different kinds but I only remember 2 brands.
  3. Qqos tagging, nat type open, Ipv4 + Ipv6, 40ms -50ms  speed is aight.
  4. My Xbox is included in the Pinholes list for the modem firewall.
  5. Wasted more money,  buying a new Ethernet cable and Powered hub.
  6. Unplugged ethernet, and plugged it into laptop. Not for My specific reason other than I'm not letting a second go by without getting my money's worth.
  7. Wifi statistics were not worth mentioning or different enough to matter.
  8. Not To be petty, But I  took it a step further and  tethered my Xbox to my phone, and  It ran fine, except on Apex.
  9. pretty much everything you will read about in this post is About perfectly good, functionaldevices/ systems,  Handled and operated by a competent  person.

Settings/
Configs.

  1. The controller Should technically be the  Primary source ,So this Is where I'll start off and   simply  go down the signal  chain, listing settings I've  "touched".
  •    minimized deadzone,Increased sensitivity,
  •

    @0v0_legendz

Thanks for all those details. It's very much appreciated. I have found out that we are currently investigating an issue with input lag on Xbox consoles. When we have an update, that should be announced on our official channels.

I’m on Xbox Series X and Apex has been unplayable over the last week, input lag seems like a decent way to explain how it’s currently feeling. It takes 2-3 times as long as it should to perform any action and movement feels really clunky and off, it’s not a fault on my side and every other game I play works just fine.
