G7 is still good, but for me i feel the hemlok is better this season. Picked the hemlok up last night and cranked out just shy of 2k damage with it, and that was whilst being plagued with hit reg issues and stuttering gameplay.
I think the changes to the G7 are quite healthy, it's not a go-to gun anymore, but still very powerful in the right hands.
So for the last months i read complaints about the g7 being too op and now that they nerfed it( not that much, it's still a solid gun), people are complaining again. That's pretty funny lol
G7 needs the sniper increased width removed from it.
I used to main the G7 as well, and the nerf is noticeable to me.
Damage is still significant, and even tho it’s now an assault rifle, I won’t be using the G7 in close quarter engagements as I once did.

In the first Battlefront i was huge on the single fire or burst guns.
I actually surprised that i started maining the G7/single fire tho. And I've really enjoyed that i have been.
I hate the wingman tho, sometimes i do good with it, but i seem to get a lot of registry issues or often i hit and don't think i have.
Someone's recommending hemlok on single fire... I'm tempted to give it a try.
