That's very thoughtful of you to look out for others in your squad. Right now we are not aware of any plans for Origin to allow the gifting for DLC or virtual currency in the near future. Thank you for reaching out.

Origin gifting isuses and workarounds:

Pre-order games and DLC, third party products, virtual currency, game bundles that contain virtual currency, and free games or DLC are not giftable.

Please make gifting a battle pass a thing in the new season I met this sweet 11 year old and would love to buy him the next battle pass because his mom can not afford to buy him it

@RabidRabbit2121 Just sent money to his steam/xbox/pc account or to his paypal wallet or whatever... so many choices

@Koochi-Q Yup this is probably the best method for sure.
I got my duo buddy the Octane physical edition for his birthday as he is an octane main. Money well spent as he was happy and is still wearing the skin to this day. 😛
