@Bolted_Fault it's just random. Two groups of friends will "queue together" (they just press the matchmake button for the same queue at the same time really), and then they can verify if they're in the same lobby by telling each other who the champion of their lobby is. It shouldn't always work, but with declining game population and how the match maker works, it's a lot easier to do so now than it would've been back in Preseason or Season 1.
