i watched a youtube video about the aim hack and the man said he uses a math called trigonometry. to pinpoint the location for the gun to target.

it occurred to me that for this to work he would need a good sense of the opponent location in real time, hence why the vpn with its odd pings throw off the aim assist. hes targeting the ping over a few hundred miles away while your true ping is way off from his aim hack.

to compensate for this he would need a high fire rate...hence to combat aim assist you need a slow fire rate with a low damage per bullet so the vpn can work against a hacker.

try a few weeks with low fire rate and low damage per bullet to see if it really does hurt the hacker. if it works then this is how to set all fps or online games to combat hackers, no more kills in a second like we see on youtube now.

Gaming specific vpns are much better than a general one such as nord. I use it for most games. Can't use it for surfing the net. Just gaming. Ping drops immensely if playing on a server overseas

You are just describing how to exploit the terrible netcode this game has.  It is known exploit tho use a VPN to make your ping higher so you are harder to hit especially with 20 tick rate servers and client side hitreg netcode.
