Re: Is Bloodhound a Boy or a Girl

Nothing is known about Bloodhound beyond the fact that Bloodhound is known across the Outlands as one of the greatest game hunters the Frontier has ever seen – and that’s about all anyone knows. Their identity is a mystery wrapped in layers of rumors: they are fabulously wealthy, a bloodthirsty murderer, a Goliath whisperer, a former slave, half bat, and a dozen other things depending on who’s doing the whispering.

All anyone truly knows is that Bloodhound is a force to be reckoned with in the Apex Games. Bloodhound’s unparalleled tracking skills are a boon to any team they join, helping them root out

hidden opponents and tracking the enemy’s movements. Calling on Earth’s Old Norse Gods to guide them, Bloodhound believes that destiny is a path that has already been laid out, eventually carrying all to their death. But with that knowledge comes strength, because until that day comes, Bloodhound knows they can’t be stopped.

I got the impression it was a human male of partial or complete Asian decent

clearly his heritage is mixed imo. he is deep into the lore of those who came before him.

I don't know where you got Asian from. It's clear He/She/They (Non-Binary according to the bio) is a follower of old Norse gods (Eye of The Allfather = Odin) and is likely of icelandic descent judging by the accent. The way they pronounce thier own name "Blóðhundur" Is Icelandic for Bloodhound.

from the armor, voice acting and his reverence for lore. this is the future right? it's likely he's mixed and both Norse and Asian cultures are melted into one at this point in time. probably all cultures actually.

  • @full951 So you've probably already seen "The Old Ways" cinematic short, since it's march now. If you have seen that, you'll know that Bloodhound is genetically a girl. However, they identify as non-binary, which is basically all there is. Hope that clears up this entire thread.

@ThatCryptoUser Even in that short, it isn't exactly clear, as Bloodhound could've still been a pre-puberty boy. Admittedly, I haven't really heard that high voice in a boy before, but I'm not the most well-traveled person, so it's probably possible.
