You could say it wouldn't harm anyone, though using such glitches could potentially result in other issues with your account data-wise, so on a personal side it's just best to stay away from it.

No real way of knowing if they detect or action these things.

I'd wouldn't recommend doing it, as using any bugs at all could be considered actionable from what I know.
