If it's really firing faster than normal yes, then they are exploiting a but as fire rates should be limited afaik.

It's a bit of a grey area as far as cheating is concerned.
They're likely using a modded controller so it's all hardware as opposed to hacking, but it's still kinda cheap and totally worthy of a teabag if you down them.
Tbh 301 can be fired very fast in single fire mode which is one reason I think people like it so. Hard to figure without video but could be even faster if they were using kb&m
- @KelRiever The fire rate a lot complain about is a strikepack. The human brain can only process information and click so much which is virtually impossible to shoot as fast as some do who use say a strike pack with rapid-fire. Where AI is controlling fire rates. Very easy to see. Also very easy to hear.
I usually hear about this exploit with regard to the G7.
- @pandareno1999 Is that actually possible? I have heard some unusual gunshot sounds lately that sound unlike any other normal gunfire so I assume its single fire at an accelerated rate but surely the Scout has a hard coded delay to each shot? Not doubting you, just doesn't seem like it should be possible.
Sorry, I believe I misremembered something, as I can't find reference to anything going beyond a weapon's fire rate cap.
- @pandareno1999 You may very well be right, as a non cheater I really don't know what is or isn't possible. Pretty bad if it is, I wouldn't like to downed by a rapid fire scout!
What I know is quite possible is to make a single fire weapon mode like those on the R301 and Hemlok fire at its maximum fire rate with a single input as if it were automatic fire.
