Re: Lifeline is real fun now!

Idk man, the ability to keep your team alive and in the fight has always been a deeply undervalued skillset in basically every game that has healers...from mmorpgs to FPS games, it's not subservient lol, it's just being a team player.

It really can be an invaluable tool.

Take lifeline for example,

You've got the revives you've just been talking about, super powerful tool to be honest.

The doc drone is a little niche due to the healing speed yes....but any quicker and it could be abused mid fight.

The ult is much better than it was...we all know how crappy it was before.

I think lifelines in a pretty good place to be honest.

@MandatoryIDtagAgreed in BFV finding good medics is difficult. Yet one good medic can mean the difference between losing and winning a round in that game. I had a round in it a few weeks back in which I went something like 2-12 on the KD. I was how ever the MVP of the round and had a score of something 22,000 points. I had 64-70 revives in the match and our team won the match by fewer than 20 respawn tickets. In BFV being a good medic is complex because you need a few people covering you as you revive. But it's awesome when you have the cover to really focus on reviving and handing out med packs to people.

In Apex it's not even about just keeping people in the fight. I have been LL and we get into sticky multi-squad fights. I throw down the drone get my downed teammate up and we run while the other squads are fighting. Heal up and sometimes push back to the original fight, other times we just move on and reposition for the next round.

@MandatoryIDtag Well my kinda point was her heal is good now and has made her much more fun to play.

I think i need to relegate myself to playing the cleanup guy...
Let my teammtes go in deal some whack damage, get downed, then pick em up and squad wipe the rest.

This maybe makes playing with doodoo players a bit more feasible... when they get downed you can leave them to revive and (try) survive and just use them as fodder/poke damage.

Only healers i really used i can remember were Mercy and Moira... strangely i was getting good eliminations with Mercy.

Moira tho... wow. I used her aggressively and offensively. Top stuff. I'd occasionally chuck a golden ball of healing. Or lineup allies and enemies in her ult.

But yeah why i say subservient is because if you rush in as the aggr you lose out the benefits of your character. So you're somewhat forced to be the last line.
