@DarthValtrex I second this , 9/10 fights that get third partied result in my team being the primary focus with it seeming like the other teams will just not shoot each other at all. Until we die and spectate and see that it’s either 1. Positioning - stuck between multiple squads so it’s obviously easier for them to shoot at us first . 2. We have high tier armour that the enemy clearly wants . Or 3. Pure bad luck which I guess also translates back to bad positioning .

There’s actually only been a few times I can definitively say there’s been actual teaming going on , mostly on duos . In which cases il just report them .

If they want to be scumbags and do that then whatever , all the more satisfying when you beat them . Maybe it’s worse on pc though idk , I play on PS4.

I witnessed teaming twice before the split.
The first time was in ranked. It was 1 week before the split.
A random pathfinder can up to me and started tea-bagging in the shattered forest area. I instantly shot him with my Havoc this his squad rushed me, and me and my squad wiped them.
I knew they were trying to team, so I blasted pathfinder after his third tea-bag.

The second time was in the same area, this was 2 days before the split.

Me and my squad was running to third party a fight, but it was a trap!
I ran into hill area opposite of containment with ziplines that go up the cement wall. As so I as I ran into one of the little capsules the enemy squads focus fired me.

They were not fighting each other but were shooting in the area to attract enemy squads. They had so many death boxes stacked in that area it was ridiculous! They had probably killed over 4 squads by teaming and luring other squads into a trap!

1 of my squads members escaped the trap.
It was a Loba, she ran to the old Cascades area and hide in the old wooden house. There was only 3 squads left.
The two Squad fired around to pretend they were fight for over 2 minutes. Pretending they were fight to lure our Loba out.

Our Loba didnt take the bait.
She waited in the wooden house.
Then the final ring landed on the wooden house.
After 2 more minutes the 2 squads decided to fight each other.
After one of the squads wiped the other; they
then ran down the hill to the wooden house to kill our Loba.

We got second.

This just 1 of many times I have encountered teaming.
After first I though no one was bad enough to team in a ranked match, but I was wrong.
Teaming take place all the time.
And it is most apparent when you go to third party but both parties focus fire you, and are not fight each other but are randomly shooting to simulate a fight, to bait and lure unsuspecting squads into a trap.
