Re: New FPS game set in the Apex Universe

Eugene Kim, an ex-senior environment artist at Respawn, has left the company. But that’s typical for devs to rotate to different dev companies.

This tweet from Eugene pretty much confirms that the new single player game WILL NOT be titanfall 3 hence  not follow Jack Cooper since he called they’re continually calling it as “Apex Universe” and not the “Titanfall universe”. We still might get some easter eggs or some nods to the TF series in the new game. 

Just curious, did you play Titanfall 2 before playing apex? I really didn’t care about TF2 only played it a few months ago because of Apex Legends. I suggest playing the single player campaign and it’s always on sale.

I would guess that the decision to make an apex legends universe game is the reason why Blisk was removed/delayed from the Apex roster. He might play a big role in the new game. Last year we already saw multiple videos of insider leaks of testing Blisk’s abilities.

    Not going to lie man, if Titanfall 2 servers actually worked and I could play more Frontier Defense, I would not even be here or touching Apex. I generally hate multiplayer PvP anything, I find it serves no good purpose to myself or humanity at large.

    Frontier Defense is awesome.It's the movement and gunplay, but cooperative. Objectives are clear. The AI has a difficulty scale from Casual to "I want to feel like real people are trying to kill me" and it's good for everyone.

    It's just frustrating that out of my last 85 attempts to play, all of 1 match has connected. The rest keep timing out and kicking the lobby from the server. And I can see people in the lobby! We want to play!

    EA needs to actually support Titanfall 2 servers or just admit they are not going to and let people host the multiplayer side outside theri servers.
