@LaughingSharko  Oh c'mon lol, you know that's not what's being referenced here at all. There's a portion of the playerbase who will just blindly ping in every conceivable direction simply because they've been knocked.

It isn't helpful in any way and it's up for there for toxic habits that the playerbase has developed lol. Repeatedly pinging the nearest respawn beacon is another irritating habit of some players.

I've literally gone on comms to explain to them that it's a bad idea to respawn them at nearest beacon and they still continue to hit ping.

@MandatoryIDtag Extremely annoying!! I generally play with my two good friends, but even when I'm playing with randy's, I'll ping the enemy that knocked me, and then I try to be quiet so my team has a better chance of finishing the squad off. I don't want to be loud, obscuring footstep sounds and whatnot. I might throw in an extra ping to alert my team if an enemy is flanking, but that's about it. The only time we spam each other, is when we're just messing around. If one or two of us are waiting on being respawned, and it takes more than a minute or two, we'll start "complaining" in party chat, noting how "incredibly long" it's taking, and how we need a better team mate that will bring us back lmao. We're all fine with it though, as we are practically family, and we constantly hound each other.

@MandatoryIDtag No, I was really asking. I usually follow enemies around with a ping as they move, but I hadn't thought that it may actually be making it harder for my teammates to focus on killing the enemy because of the sound issue.

It wouldn't honestly be a big deal if they turned down the sound effect anyway, since the visual component is the main reason I'm using it (i.e. we all know there's an enemy since I'm knocked, so not a huge reason to make it sound constantly).

At the very least, I will try to tone it down a bit more. I know you're rarely in the situation since you're an Apex god, but I spend more time crawling around than that, lol.

@LaughingSharko I'm so glad that with my suggestion you could learn a new mechanic in the game, you pickup these kind of things with time tho. If you get insterested in the more complex side of the game and ranked lobbies, watch the Nokokopuffs Youtube series on leveling up from bronze to predator, I was shocked to see how much I was lacking hehe. Cheers!

@LaughingSharko  Ah my apologies, i misread your comment as containing some sarcasm. 😛

Yeah over pinging can certainly be extremely distracting, it's much less of an issue if as you said the pings in question are an accurate tracking of enemy movements, unless there's more than one left. In which case its probably just better to jump on comms and quickly relay the scenario.

Trying to relay 2+ players movements via ping becomes a cacophony of noise. XD
