@dioangel The majority of Plat players are stuck in Plat IV. That's because a great amount of them are actually Silver players that got carried there by a friend. So they know they don't stand a chance winning against more skilled people, so they just play as if it's a normal pub game. I feel you, but don't give up. 3/4 days ago i reached Diamond solo queuing only and it was really satisfying. Once you get to Plat II  you should get sometimes better teammates that at least have some common sense, at least that's what happened to me.

    @Cro_Pitttthis is exactly why I wanted to get Diamond last season so desperately, unfortunately I didn't even make it out of gold...

    maybe I should slowly start playing before this season hits it's near end..

    @damsonwhufndthis don't get too excited, situation does not change much besides having much more hackers after D4.

    E.g. yesterday I had a team I played quite a few games with, not too good ones to be honest, eventually I did call out actually both people on their coms as they were so misleading that as soon as I decided to trust my teammates I died, yet we did ok when I IGLed.

    Eventually, D4 people didn't know that you can change your audio in Apex into Stereo mode instead of default surround sound and thus they were calling out things they heard and I playing on Stereo was wondering who is going mad...long story short - these games kept me D4 hard stuck for a good portion of the day, eventually both mates ragequitted and didn't even follow-up on what is the command to put in-game to change the setting after admitting that they don't know that part of the game either - that you can add stuff to game launch options...

    On the bright side - they reached D4 with surround sound so they must be much better mechaniclly than me = hidden Apex gems.

    Players who don't solo queue will never understand why I desperately want rank demotion protection removed.....and before you get your panties in a bunch, make it 1 full rank only, or 4 tiers, or 5, 6....wtv it takes for higher end players to not be able to farm, it's not that complicated to implement, and would help solo queue players immensely.

    If you're playing like a silver, or gold player in Plat 4 lobbies, you should be demoted back to gold if you're constantly throwing games.

    Said this numerous times, for every good game, the next 10 games are trash.

    @damsonwhufndthis :D not at all, surround sound is broken in the game at least from what I have read and experienced.

    Switching to stereo game me huge boost = I finally could play Apex with somewhat directional sound as any other FPS game before it.

    p.s. probably unless you play on 5.1 / 7.1 speakers 😉
