Happen a lot to me before, since during fight, u tend to be more intense with ur thumb and accidently pressing down harder than ussual which trigger Meele action.
To avoid it:
1. Setting -> Controller -> Use CUSTOM button layout (last one at the bottom)
2. Change the meele option from pressing right thumb stick to something else that you barely use.

@asukojo This is a game issue, it happens to me too. It’s not me hitting the right stick. Not sure why nobody is taking this seriously since it’s a real issue.

I think I have figured this out. I noticed if I pull the trigger when my gun is away, I throw a punch. When I am in the heat of battle and trying to reload and shoot, I throw a punch instead. I think the game is mixed up in the reload phase and thinks you have your gun away. Hence the punch.

@aisthebestletter Oh yeah, if you dont have bullets in the gun I am fairly sure it punches. Makes sense as you are pressing an attack button.
