While I find the heirloom cute, and fitting for Wattson, I can’t see how can that thing be a melee weapon. I guess it’s still better than the boring Bangalore knife.
I saw comments of those who bought the Apex Legends book and said that there’s lore behind the Ghostbusters ghost detector heirloom. When Wattson was still young, she saw a ghost so she built this ghost detector. It happens to be that the ghost she saw was Wraith all along. 👻
Wattson-Wraith voicelines referring to the “ghost” incident.- @Cheese9Man Bangs knife is actually pretty nice and fits her. I have the book and the wattson thing still doesn't fit right for me. She hits anyone with that and it breaks.

Am I the only one who's disappointed with the event? Aside from the cosmetics which I think are okay, there's not much in the collection event. I know that CEs are primarily about the skins but this is the least effort that they've put out for a CE. No town takeover and even the patch notes were a bit lackluster. The current state of the guns and legends are generally balanced (some would disagree to this) but we could have had something to somehow shift the meta. We got a minor Seer buff and a minor arc star nerf. The only thing that I'm look for, to be honest, is the Winter Express but a lot of people don't like that event and it's mostly just a recycled LTM with minor changes.
Just disappointed with this one comparing it from the awesome past CEs that we had. My favorite towntakeovers were the sweaty Mirage Voyage POI during the first Holoday Bash, Crypto's map room and Octane's Gauntlet in KC. I agree with Hayhor, just bring back the other 2 maps to have at least some variety when I'm playing since it's really becoming a "meh" of a season after the first week of launch.

We haven't had an ltm since April. This is a pretty big drought, especially when the competition has released brand new games recently. - @Cheese9Man I definitely miss the town takeovers, too. I love the Crypto map room, still drop there on KC most games. It's the one place that I have decent luck with loot. The Caustic one was dope too, and Octane's was super fun to bounce around haha.
They could have some fun with winter-themed events. Maybe an LTM were we don't get traction, and slide around as if the entire map was covered in ice? Could lead to some hilarious content. Maybe an LTM with a snowball as a throwable, and have massive snowball battle royales? Idk.. something new and fun and different from past ones
