@Axs5626Sxa5001 so unfair!! I started playing ranked arenas on PC and I had 4 wins and 6 losses in my placement matches. I had a K/D above 1 as well. None of that mattered apparently. I was placed in Bronze 4...

Granted, I did not expect to be placed very high. But Bronze 4? Seriously?
I am almost breaking into Silver 4 now. I enjoyed most matches but it looks like it will be a long grind.. I still have a K/D of 1,3 but sometimes my teammates are just braindead, like Octanes that jump pad into the enemy squad 1v3.

I was going to make a thread about this, whether or not it is worth grinding it out.

@AcidicSoda44031 Don't feel too bad, iiTzTimmy absolutely destroyed in his arenas placements several seasons ago, and placed in Silver, IIRC. There are clips from his stream around somewhere of the moment his rank came in, I saw it live.

Ranked arenas placements are the only such thing I've ever seen that are even screwier than Overwatch comp placements.

@pandareno1999 ok, so what's the point of placement matches then? We might as well skip them.

I just cracked into Silver 4 btw. Boy oh boy, what was that, a 25 hour grind? Yeah I am not sure if this is worth it. Looks like too little points are given, no matter how you perform. I had a match with 9 kills and about 2100 damage. That gave me literally about the same points as a win by forfeit (it was a 3v2 and the enemies quit) with about 100 damage and 1 kill.
K/D is 1,5 so far, so there is that. But yeah, wonder how long it will take to get to the higher ranks. At this rate I am going to sink hundreds of hours on this.
