@Asmodeus566 after a bit of thinking 🤭 I think the starting point RP for s13 is not done by straightforward tier demotion this time. I think it has been done simply by points. So we got a 1.5 tier point demotion after the end of S12 under the old points system, and that is now our rp points earned starting point for s13 under the new system.

It's a pity we weren't forewarned as it does feel disheartening to lose an expected entire rank and having to now earn that back, as well as increased points within the system.

7200 points to diamond, in about 45 days, I'm not sure I now have the will or the time. Maby it's deliberate to get players back into pubs and arenas.

The new RP entry cost's will do most players in especially once they start to rank up to G2 and above this will increase the grind even more than just the higher threshold to meet the rank requirement.
Basically if you really want to Rank up to Plat or above it looks like one my have to quit their day job or become a streamer/pro player.
And I thought the changes were going to be a good thing.

This change is really bad. People have had many seasons of thinking they are a certain level and now they are being told they aren't as good.
