OG mode is a wake up call to remind the devs and the players that the game in its current state is too complicated and too hostile to new players.

Don't play ranked or buy battle pass so that's up to others to decide.

In general all the new changes are pointless. They bring nothing new or improved to the game except to create the illusion that things are new and improved.

Matchmaking is still crippled. Aimbots seem to be everywhere. The game is filled with level four banners attached to players who obviously have hit master every season since ranks began. It's a sewer, but hey! Try out this cool new Rift Relic! Really???

    @reconzeroWell the smurf and cheater issue is bad but as some seasons it's tolerable and some just joke as stated before I played only 10 matches so don't have wide view about things yet. All feedback is good negative or positive as it leads to the right way... I still have no clue what is rift relic or where to get those 😅 like you said apex is not beginner friendly game this is completly true at least it has been like this several seasons I started on season 4 and kept dyin game after game like a week before I get hang of it. Graphics are way better now that's improvment though they had good graphics back in earlier seasons too. But as conclusion we are only few days in of the season we don't have a wide view yet of the things at least I have high hopes of s23.

    In the end it doesnt matter if you like A,B or C about the new season ... it matters if you are willing to spend money on it.
    And in my case, my stance hasnt changed an inch ... fair matchmaking, inputbased lobbies and quality netcode/servers have to come before i spend even a dime on the game.

    @r1ggedgame Well I stop using money for apex as the cheater issue wasn't takin seriously and never ever goin to buy that new rip off battlepass what they introduce last season split 1 / split 2 total cost of like what it was like 40-50 bucks for a season what a joke. I def understand your standing point as well... But money is not the entire issue as some players never use a single dime for game they play (free to play) game what apex is. Matchmaking biggest issue is smurfs and cheaters not the actual matchmaking it was rly bad couple seasons when u end up with preds and bein silver example that doesn't happen anymore so that's improved. Servers are bad that's a fact they should improve that a LOT as we talking bout a multibillion dollar company.

    1) Cheaters
    2) Matchmaking
    3) Smurfs
    4) Servers
    5) Audio

    @MindTrick85you can see by EAs reaction, they only move if the revenue tanks ... thats why i said it only matters if you are willing to spend money on the game. we all know their stance on "freeloaders" 😉 
    "Freeloaders" are a part of the product and not the "Customer" in their view, those players only matter if the games vitals are influenced by lack of them (long queue times, low playercount, popularity ect).
    Other than that they are just eating up resources and can be neglected in relation to shareholders

    @HappyHourSumwur nro 1 issue is cheaters and smurfs, thats a fact - matchmaking is possible to fix if they just take some effort with it played 15-20 ranked games right now and didnt see any issue with matchmakin right now feels okay to me it has been bad in the past I know that. Rumors about new game engine if they swap it should fix the audio issues completly. Servers are pretty trash I don't arque with that and it can only be fixed with cold cash, but first things first cheaters need to be banned by hardware yes you can make a new account every minute if u want but you dont buy a new pc everyday example. I know there's a way to go around of hardware ban as well but not everyone is computer wizard for sure. Smurf issue could be easily controlled by system that tracks example ranked points not lvl20 player gets into diamond instant takes time to learn the game first, could also be used against cheaters as you able to spec ur stats by apex tracker wouldnt take a magic trick to spectate headshots example by EA/Respawn if a player constantly hits 98-100 headdies each game something is wrong. I hope all these issues would be taking seriously and fixed one by one in simple order. I would make ur 1-5 list in the following way 1. cheaters 2. smurfs 3. servers 4. audio 5. matchmaking.

    @Airish85 I think you should post it here > Technical Issues as it clearly seems to be a bug that hasn't ment to be there. Thanks for your post! to bring it up... Didn't even knew about that before u bring it up

    @Airish85 well if it only gets worse on higher framerate its a bug why anyone would lower the gameplay performance on higher end setup? I don't think it has been added on purpose it's a bug in code.

    Yup the smurf and cheater issue is still goin strong now when I have few days behind it's quite obvious issue still exist and goin strong'
