Re: Serious skill gap between golds and plats

There are new ranked players that been gold players and tips plat for the first time, they prolly need to play a while at plat before they get to adjust their playstyle, its normal in any segment of ranked, you see the same even at gold IV for instance. Same when coming from gold to play you need to recalibrate because you forgot how big a difference it really was, I hit that holy crap thing myself this season, especially since I was very early into play so it was still full of masters still climbing so full culture shock hehe.

I think its something that every segment has really, takes a bit for a fresh diamond to become a seasoned diamond for instance 😉

Just another thing moving from gold to plat is probably the worst face-hitter esp game culture wise atm when it comes to how different it is from pubs, at plat |youre fully aware of what is the key to get points and everyone has proper fight mechanics and it feels like everyone is where you are just because everyone is pretty much trying the same hehe, later ranks your pretty prepared of how sweaty ranked is 😉 gold is just a sweatyish pubs kinda segment where people go around doing their thing somewhat coordinated based on how the current point system is.
