Re: So Warzone was just announced, what will this mean for Apex?

Warzone is pretty fun, I played the CODMw Reboot beta / demo and didn't like the way the game felt.

Now that I played about a few hrs of Warzone the game wouldn't replace Apex legends for me it be a good game to play in between seasons. Warzone seasons are very short it seems like. I'm Not really a fan of it. Have too see what happens down the road a bit see if this changes at all.

The Gulag is fun it just feels cheap to have your deaths count in the gulag in your overall stat. It reminds me a lot of titanfall 2 Colosseum.  In Warzone though when you knocked someone if you don't finish them off and your teammate does they get the kill which is another cheap thing. At least Enemies don't have a knockdown shield 🙂

It's funny to me that people rather play COD warzone then apex because  apex doesn't have Solo's and Duo's well either does COD Warzone but you rather play that. There still Audio issues and weird lag that happens same as Apex. I guess your flavor of the month player will alway gravitate to the "next best game" and hold it up to high praise. lol

IMO Both games are fun in their own right, For me Apex is more challenging to eliminate a squad compared to COD warzone.

    Ill add i also dont consider it a BR... land, do a couple contracts, pull your money, bam custom loadouts just like in MP... BR is RNG, search/loot/kill... not buy my custom loadout... 

    LTM for apex...? Devs... custom loadouts!

    @Jem450R Well they did something close to that during the Mirage event with the pre set loadouts, would be interesting to see what everyone would run if they had the choice though lol

    @Pretzelnutcake I can hazard a guess... fully decked devotion with a side of R99... or Hopped up Prowler.

    @Jem450R well it’s mostly RNG until you have enough money to buy your loadout. For now at that point it’s ‘stomp the freeloaders with your lvl 57 (max weapon rank ppl, keep up... unless they increased the rank or it’s different for every weapon (class)) mp7 with all the right attachment to fully battle an RNG found AK47 at mid-range’ XD.

    The funny thing is, I ran a riot shield as secondary... so I’m so far the only guy brandishing I’ve seen brandishing a riot shield XD

    Slower queue times late at night for a couple weeks....that's about it. Warzone is fun but without 2 decent buddies at all times, yikes. I thought Apex solo queue could get ugly. It's decent, but Apex is just much more polished head to toe ....Gunplay is more satisfying too. I play a ton of Ground War on MW, & long TTK on COD just feels off. Blackout was the same 

    Played Apex last night for the first time in like 10 days....& it just wasn't even a question. Apex is so much better

    @decimation92 I haven't played warzone but the multiplayer put me off straight away, boring a complete camp fest, I usually like IW cods but MW is so boring imo I have no Intention of going back to it no matter what mode it is .

    I still love Apex, it keeps me coming back to it and although I play solo I still enjoy 80% of the games I play.
    BfV is my alternate game and with the ttk change it's made the game better and back closer to what it was, a decent big fps .

    @xx_Dante2k_xx I just noticed this lol. Yeah dude COD MW actually pisses me off a lot lol. It's so dumb tbh. I'm also huge battlefield fan, bf3/4 AND Hardline (unlike most people), so in the long run I made sure to find a way to enjoy Ground War at the very least. But it's still dumb, 70% of my kills are just picking off unsuspecting people. It's the only way to get streaks lol. I hated it at first but I adapted, although I'm hardly proud of it

    I also love Apex & ALWAYS come back to it. I take breaks from the game, but I know I'll always be back. The gunplay & the movement is just too satisfying

    I realllyyyyy look forward to the next modern day Battlefield. So badly. I haven't played much bf1 or V. BF1 was too much of a snipe fest, & it scared be away from V. But I miss Battlefield. So frickin much

    @decimation92 BF V is better than 1, i hated 1 and im like you, hardcore BF fan! I loved Hardline! Had some unique game modes. COD has been trash for me for a long time, and i played CoD4 for 40 some days play time, down hill from there! Apex has soured me on a lot of games due to the movement and gun play!

    So far I've played a single match of Warzone, and it wasn't that great tbh. Gameplay was fun enough, I guess, but I'm so used to the movement of Apex that the whole thing felt quite sluggish. The map looks huge, and I feel like I should give the team behind it props for crafting it, but it's also just so mundane and unexciting. Overall the game might be good in that regard that I'd never be tempted to spend money on it like I do with Apex from time to time, simply because there's nothing fancy to buy. All the "characters" are basically faceless mannequins to me, so why would I want to dress them up in slightly different, boring, mundane outfits?

    Overall I guess it reminded me why I simply don't play shooters with modern military settings.
