@Rye-Sco He won't be meta in algs. Too many seer ults or rampart shields stopping pushes.

In pubs and ranked with a team on the same page he will be a menace tho.

@hayhor Just a question, but why does it matter what characters they play in algs? These are pros who do this for a living and we are watching them do it. Why is that important to the game what maybe a couple 100 people do vs the rest? I mean this isn't some soap opera that we get to influence the writers on and see the change play out on tv? Or am I missing something? Why does it matter to us what they do over there if a character is not broken or aka meta strong in casual play? I thought meta meant a character is stronger than the rest overall, or preferred by ease of use. Not just in a certain way when used by certain people - that is not meta, that's preference or just one of many solutions to a certain scenario.

@blackeyeriver Have you ever watched algs? It is much better when there is a number of legends being used. When every team is the same or the meta lasts a long time it gets boring. The top players are the best at shooting, movement and positioning. And also exploiting characters.

@hayhor I have watched, but they seem to create "fake metas" just by picking certain character combos. These metas do not exist outside algs. Which means they aren't metas at all. Some metas were legit, like Valk, Wraith etc. and it showed in casual play, but the rest? No, not really. The fact that they can manipulate characters does not actually mean that a flaw or OP thing has been exposed. No one actually plays like they do in algs. Not even high rank matches. Algs is more like camping 101, competitively. In short it does not resemble real world play and should not matter when changes are made aside from truly broken things that everyone uses. And altering a whole game for entertainment sake should not be a thing. At least to me anyway.
