Lore wise, Titans are a whole different bag.

Titans are driven by Pilots, and pilots are basically Jedi.  They're all enhanced and pretty much put down regular people left and right.  None of the Apex characters, badass as they are, are Pilots.  I mean, maybe they should be, but I would get yourself TF2, which is still a good game, and play that multiplayer.
