I think you misread my post, friend. Every game with these sort of challenges rewards throwing or improper play. It comes with the territory and Apex is not exceptional in this.
EDIT: Someone made a comment above about tightening up the conditions for satisfying these quests. That seems like a terrific idea.
@pandareno1999 I happen to agree by the way. In no game should you get a reward if you quit early. Don't know for how many months now, maybe over half a year, I've been saying that if you quit before you either grey out, or before 2:30 after you are picked up, then you should get zero rewards registered for your game, no matter what. I'm pretty sure Respawn is too scared that if there is a real penalty for leaving games that they'll lose money (even if true, boo hoo then make a better game that people don't want to quit), but at least don't reward people when they quit early. Whether or not it is across other games is beside the point; that just means they do it wrong too.
Part of this does absolutely come from the company, not just the players. Incentivize people properly and they'll behave better. Not all of them and not always but right now you either put up with trash or the alternative is do the same trashy behavior to save your sanity and own game time.
Agreed. I just don't think that BP challenges encouraging poor play are not a sign of deliberate intention, which is sort of how I was reading your post. Cheers!
