I am pretty sure that you probably received a warning to change the username before the perma bann happened.

i did not receive any warnings at all prior to my suspension relating to this issue. i have appealed and got denied. im not here to ask for help with my ban. im here to ask how on earth this is fair and how my name is considered offensive. and you state the needs of many come before the few. whilst i understand that fully and totally agree who are the many? */transphobes who get offended at me being open about my gender identity? because if so i feel like respawn is focusing on catering towards the wrong parties. especially with them recently adding a trans character i feel like issues like this should not be happening. in fact it should be happening less. i regularly get called slurs and get homophobic remarks yet nearly all return as a nothing has been done. yet i get banned for having trans in my name? surely this shows something about the way the ingame name/communication system works. whilst i understand that i have previous chat infractions for cussing etc. such as a 7 day ban for calling someone a sweaty F**k not in an insultory tone mind you. i received 0 warnings about my name and instead just got instantly banned.

I see where you are coming from and as @hayhor stated it is probably best to stay away from some words. Do keep in mind that you stated that you have had previous infractions, that was meant to be plural right? So with that in mind use of a possibly inflammatory gamer tag and multiple previous infractions does not help.
I would also never ever repeat what caused me a seven day ban in the game here on the forum either, if it was not OK in game why would you think it is OK here?
