Re: Why even play Crypto?

@Cro_PitttDidnt see him much at all yesterday 😉
And just cuz he gets picked some to bully wattson doesnt make him a good legend in general...

Bh is not in meta but the second most picked legend in the game currently
makes sense to me 😉Not to mention that i saw him much more yesterday than crypto, honestly not sure what you saw but bh was in allmost all setups lol

Crypto pickrate is abysmal even with all the wattsons arround its just not worth picking him currently

The last Pickrate before the emp nerfs i could find of Crypto is 3.18% that is clearly not an okay pickrate at all

@matzesingt When you're talking about meta you have to think about competitive. Casual games do not count, i see lots of octanes around but this does not make him meta.

Try watching again the finals(Europe especially). Some teams used him and they got good results. Crypto is viable with a good team, if he's not coordinated with the others then it's useless.

I was playing with a random who was an amazing Crypto player.

He would ask if we're ready then do a countdown 5,4 etc to 1 to fire the stun, nade and we all dive in.

He was hoarding and asking for all Ultimate Accelerants and even asking us to hang back until he reached 100% stun ready before every push.

Even though he did least damage...he carried the team.

Final circle...enemy squad did not expect him to fire his stun again after 1 min cooldown as he stocked more accelerants.

Crypto just requires more coordination with team than others. So less likely chosen playing with randoms.

Playing with randoms its more wise to play with characters with escape abilities like Wraith or Mirage.

  • @Cro_Pittt Enough that i saw NA yesterday where like 2 crypto´s have been and 15 bh´s

So i am not even talking about "casual" when you call predlobbys in high tier casual
